Anastasija Katcyna
My path into Somatics didn’t start in a textbook — it started on the dance floor during dance and movement therapy trainings. Movement therapy cracked me open to the truth that our bodies carry stories too deep for words.
That insight shaped everything I do.
As both a somatic movement therapist and a trauma practitioner in training with Somatic Experiencing, I work with the nervous system not just as theory, but as relationship. I track subtle cues — gestures, rhythms, impulses — and help people find their way back to their own internal choreography of safety and aliveness.

My message to you
The body is the most accessible and versatile material to create a dialogue with oneself. It’s a map, a navigation toward well-being. The body helps to find what is hidden and loudly silent, what wants to be alive and free. The practice is a way to see how one lives in a personal house. With practice, we learn to organize ourselves better, be healthier, recognize old paradigms, create new pathways, see a higher vision, and live a joyful life.

Somatic Experiencing® (SE) is a body-based approach that helps people heal from stress and trauma by working directly with the physiology of trauma and the nervous system. It teaches how to listen to your body, build resilience, and find balance.
By gently exploring physical sensations and emotions, SE helps release stored tension, easing anxiety, overwhelm, and other modern-day struggles. This method empowers people to self-regulate and heal from difficult experiences, whether they’re from the past or ongoing challenges.

Breathwork is a journey to the core of your emotions and subtle layers of your unconscious self. Breathwork is a set of various breathing exercises to improve mental, physical, and emotional health. Originating from Eastern practices and incorporating Western therapeutic techniques to enhance self-awareness, Breathwork can include elements of talk therapy, breathing exercises, expressive arts, music, and touch. The breath is a bridge between conscious and unconscious. By connecting to our breath, we create a space to release what we’ve been holding onto, engage with our past, and move closer to our true selves. Conscious breathing helps to metabolize old wounds, move unprocessed emotions, achieve mental clarity, access inner creative resources, and connect with the Self.
